Politics: Heated battles between elected officials. Controversy, espionage, accusations. Sometimes, it all seems more fitting for daytime television i.e. soap operas or perhaps a wrestling ring than the floor of congress. This video published by John Ward shows the “interview” or “questioning” of now disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok and all the chaos that ensued.

What Was Peter Strzok Being Accused of?

Peter Strzok was previously in charge of investigating the probe behind the Clinton email debacle. He was also in charge of the FBI’s investigation into the Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections. That isn’t all, though. He was also accused of cheating on his wife, revealing his true character outside of his professional role.

What This Video Outlines

This video compares Peter Strzok to satan, even showcasing his “horns.” The media virtually ignored the hearing and tried to bury it among other stories that day. This one incident was of course just one drop in the bucket in terms of the many issues that exist between politicians. While they are elected to present our best interests within government, they very rarely follow through with that mandate. In fact, many times, they would better be described as wolves in sheep’s clothing.

What the Bible Says

In Matthew 7:15, as part of His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said the following to the surrounding crowd, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

Conclusion

Though the message Jesus was conveying had to do with false prophets and not politicians or FBI directors, the warning could be issued for either. That is why it’s so important for Christians to pay attention to what’s going on in their government and with elected officials. Watch this video for more about the Peter Strzok satan/wolf in sheep’s clothing comparison.
