Country music star Craig Campbell, who you might recognize from his albums “Craig Campbell” and “Never Regret,” is a supremely talented country artist. However, he isn’t the only one in his family who can impress on stage as this video showcases.

What Takes Place in This Video?

Craig himself has enough talent to make up a small choir in the form of his two daughters and talented wife. Though his oldest daughter Preslee is a well known talent, the ability of his youngest, 6-year-old Kinni Rose, was previously unknown before she performed alongside her dad, sister and mother at their church.

It Almost Didn’t Happen

Apparently a few weeks prior to this performance, young Kenni had tried to sing and messed up a bit. This resulted in her running off stage embarrassed. After this incident, Kenni Rose proclaimed that she would never sing again. Mindy Campbell, Kenni’s mom and Craig’s wife, said “We had a long talk with her about how everybody makes mistakes and gets embarrassed and how God made none of use perfect so we can learn from our mistakes.” Mindy further explained to the child that God just wants us all to try out best and that she needed to get back up on stage and sing her heart out. Thankfully, she did just that.

The Performance

Little Kinni Rose bravely got up on stage once again, this time accompanied by her talented Dad on piano, her mom backing her up on vocals and playing the mandolin, and her sister. The group sang “Get Up in Jesus Name” to the delight of everyone in the audience. Watch Kenni’s amazing debut with her family below to see a real life example of perseverance and courage wrapped up in the ultra cute package of one talented 6-year-old girl.

My 6 year old Kinni Rose got up to sing two Sunday's ago at our church and she messed up a little and that made her panic and she ran off crying. Totally broke my heart. All day that day she told me should would never get up and sing again and that broke my heart even more. So we had a long talk with her about how everybody makes mistakes and gets embarrassed and how God made none of us perfect so we can learn from our mistakes and really all He cares about is us not giving up and that God wants us to keep trying and pursuing what is good and right and you singing for the Lord is very GOOD!! The next morning in the car she said OK I'll sing again because that will make God happy!! So yes we were very happy too! She did great. So here's a video of our baby girls debut singing at church!! She's hooked now!!
