Experts in Jerusalem near the Dome of the Rock have pondered the possibility that the site of the Jewish Temple may located more than 200 feet south than previously thought. The area along the Western Wall is the most religiously significant landmark in the world for Jews, Christians and Muslims.
The Jews are ready to rebuild their Holy Temple but the land overlaps the Muslim-owned land of the Dome. The Muslims believe the site at the Dome was where Mohammad ascended into heaven and is also thought to be the site of the second Jewish Temple.
A team of eschatologists discovered through Holy scripture that the original temple may be located 200 yards south from the Western Wall. If this is true the Jews can start building the temple immediately. The completion of the temple would trigger the End Times events as foretold in the book of Daniel, Revelation and others in the Bible.
Could Temple location calculations have been been wrong for two centuries? The answer may be found in a local river that is mentioned in scripture. Nehemiah 2:15: “Then I went up in the night by a brook, and viewed the wall”. The brook refers to a spring which is the only water source in Jerusalem. It would have been used by Priests before seeing the Holy of Holies and baptisms. This scripture shines light to the theory that the Temple site is located there and not more north.
The question is will Jewish tradition of the temple site location prevail or will this newest discovery excite the Jews to rebuild the temple so their Messiah can finally come which also means, so the Christian Messiah can return?
